Booth Welsh to Discuss Digitalisation at Upcoming EIC Power & Renewables Event

EIC PNR BannerEIC Connect Power, Nuclear & Renewables is an annual event which will be taking place at the ACC Liverpool on the 28th and 29th of November next week. This year, Booth Welsh is a headline sponsor of the event and will be exhibiting across the two days, at stand P6.

The event is organised by the Energy Industries Council (EIC) and has been created with the aim of bringing together leading global operators, developers and manufacturers in the power, nuclear and renewables sectors. It is expected to attract over 500 businesses who plan, build and maintain large scale energy projects, with technology and innovation at the forefront.

Ind. 4.0This year, Booth Welsh has a guest speaking slot on day 1 of the event, with our Technical Business Manager, Alan Johnston presenting on the topic of ‘Industry 4.0 – a Digital Journey’. The presentation will provide delegates with a high-level overview of Industry 4.0 and Digitalisation and what this means for Booth Welsh. The idea is to show that Industry 4.0 is nothing to fear and inspire attendees to consider the potential opportunities their own industries could reap through collaboration and innovation.

Alan commented,

“The pace of change today is crazy. Industry 4.0 technologies and Digitalisation strategies are already transforming modern manufacturing, developing smarter products, smarter processes and a smarter supply chain. I am looking forward to presenting our views to Energy professionals on our digital journey and how we are embracing this change.”

Booth Welsh has a strong collaboration initiative which plays a vital role in its ongoing Digitalisation journey as a business. In line with this, the Booth Welsh stand will host a ‘Thought Wall’, where delegates are invited to share their comments on Industry 4.0 using the #industry4thoughts. We would love to hear what the various industry bodies think about Industry 4.0.’ EIC UAE

Gary Mutter, Booth Welsh Operations Director, added:

“ We are all excited about attending this year’s event and delighted to be exhibiting at stand P6. We hope to have some great discussions with delegates who are open-minded to the disruptive changes we will be seeing throughout various industries within the coming months and  years.”
