Managing Director, Martin Welsh and our leadership team are pleased to announce they have completed a successful management buyout (MBO) of our umbrella company Booth Welsh Holdings.
The move follows the demise of Clough, our Australian based former parent company, at the end of last year and returns Booth Welsh to its independent roots under which we operated successfully for 25 years from its inception in 1989 to 2014.
Booth Welsh and our subsidiary iTech are now wholly owned by our existing management team. The MBO secures continuity for Booth Welsh and iTech staff, contractors as well as clients and suppliers who have enjoyed working closely with our UK based team for many years.
Booth Welsh will now be a nimble, agile organisation, headquartered at our existing premises in Irvine and operating throughout the UK and beyond. We will be closely in touch with clients’ needs and well positioned for the demands of 21st century engineering where sustainability and digital have such an important role.
A briefing note providing further details is available on the Booth Welsh website at MBO FAQs | Booth Welsh Integrated Engineering Company UK and anyone with further questions is invited to email communications@boothwelsh.co.uk or your project contact directly.
Martin and the leadership team would like to thank all of our clients, partners and wider supply chain for the support over the last few months and we look forward to a positive future together.
