Fitness & Wellbeing with Coach Lucy
Coach Lucy Thomson is our go-to girl for all things health and fitness. She is a real credit to our team and has supported us throughout a global pandemic and beyond!
Lucy Thomson, or Coach Lucy as she is better known, is responsible for keeping our team fit and healthy. What started as a wellbeing initiative throughout lockdown and the Covid-19 pandemic, progressed to a wonderful partnership.
Lucy provides our team with 3 live lunchtime workouts a week as well as access to useful resources, recipes and a space to unwind digitally, though the Booth Welsh community hub.
Onsite Gym & Wellbeing Initiatives
We know your health and wellbeing will be a priority and it’s something we care about too.
We have a fully equipped and newly refurbished gym available for all of our workforce at our spacious headquarters in Irvine.
In addition to this, there is a thriving active community within Booth Welsh who regularly organise activities such as weekly 5 a side games, charity walking and cycle challenges; or even a lunchtime run or cycle along the river with friends. There is an abundance of great local routes to explore and plenty of willing tour guides to show you.
We have recently won a few awards for our active efforts, including our Healthy Working Lives Gold Award and we are always looking at new ideas. If you’d like to get involved you are sure to find something that fits with what you enjoy and hopefully the chance to make a few friends along the way!
Social Events
We like to work hard and play hard. To reward our team for their hard work, we organise fun events throughout the year.
Our Annual company celebration is a standout in the calendar. Some recent themes have included 80s Throwback, Casino Royale, Great Gatsby & a Masquerade ball. Fancy dress is optional but there are always plenty of themed surprises along the way.
We also like to involve family and friends. Our charity family fun day and kids’ panto are a great way for everyone to come together.
