The Background.

In April 2017, the Clough SUEZ Water Partners joint venture was formally awarded a Design and Construct contract to complete the Stage 2 expansion of the Beenyup Advanced Water Recycling Plant on behalf of the Water Corporation of Western Australia.As part of Water Corporation’s Groundwater Replenishment Scheme, the Advanced Water Recycling Plant has the capacity to treat secondary treated wastewater and recharge up to 14 billion litres of recycled water into groundwater supplies each year. Stage 2 includes provision of a second process train, similar to the current process plant and construction of two new balancing storage tanks and related infrastructure for groundwater injection at the recharge sites north of the plant.

Scope of Work.

The Scope of Work includes Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the following items:• 80m x 35m main UF/RO process building• 35m x 30m UV pump room• HV Switchroom• 2 x Post tensioned concrete balancing storage tanks• Supply, Fabrication and Installation of all the UF and RO process modules
