Booth Welsh to Lead Discussion into Industry 4.0 at Offshore Europe 2017
Booth Welsh is set to attend and exhibit at the SPE Offshore Europe Event, taking place at the AECC in Aberdeen from the 5th to the 8th of September 2017.
This year, there is a central focus on the latest technologies within the Oil & Gas world.
In line with this agenda, Booth Welsh will be leading with a futuristic theme at stand 1F11; challenging guests to embrace the advances in technology whilst showcasing various elements of the evolution that is ‘Industry 4.0’.
The company has its roots in Control, Instrumentation & Electrical services and has over the years evolved services to meet industry needs.
Martin Welsh, Booth Welsh Managing Director, who will be at the stand during the show said,
“Industry 4.0 will have a transformational affect on the Oil & Gas Industry and I expect it to accelerate over the next 2-3 years. It will transform the process and manufacturing industries and will make both our supply chains and production processes more interconnected, efficient and flexible. We look forward to this journey”.
The stand, located next to the entrance in Hall 1, will allow delegates to get in the driving seat with race car simulators. Guests will be encouraged to challenge their peers for the quickest time and work their way up to the top of the ‘Stig’ leaderboard.
Booth Welsh will also be featuring top of the range Virtual Reality equipment for guests to interact with.This includes a chance to trial a ‘Walk the Plank’ simulation. The aim here is to encourage visitors to step into the new reality and open their eyes to the potential that these new technolgies can present to the industry.
After exploring these new technologies Booth Welsh are encouraging delegates to share their thoughts across social media using the hashtag #industry4thoughts .
